"LARGER THAN LIFE: THE KEVYN AUCOIN STORY chronicles the legacy of Aucoin, from his humble beginnings in Louisiana, to his successful rise to the top as a makeup artist in the ‘80s and ‘90s, and his sudden death at the age of 40 in 2002."
WMagazine - BROOKE MARINE

"Directed by Tiffany Bartok, the feature-length documentary tells the story of the makeup artist and his rise to fame and also reveals the circumstances behind his death in 2002 at 40. Bartok also reveals Aucoin’s role as an early LGBTQ activist and his efforts to form a same-sex partnership and a family of his own."
Samantha Conti - WWD

"Tiffany’s documentary doesn’t just highlight Kevyn’s achievements and put them in historical perspective though. It also reveals some of the struggles Kevyn faced as an adopted child who would come to feel twice rejected by his biological mother, once because she put him up for adoption and then later in life when he reunited with her and discovered that she had reservations about his sexual identity."
nsavides - THE NSAVIDES PODCAST

"A new documentary explores the makeup artist’s beautiful yet complicated life, and the inspiring legacy he [Kevyn Aucoin] left behind."
